OneSchool Global (OSG) has been recognised for the excellence of its ambitious worldwide event, Perfect Pitch, as one of three finalists for Best Corporate Event at the Australian Event Awards.
The entrepreneurial challenge ran across 10 different time zones, involving 100 OSG students, and culminated in a live TV broadcast-quality online finale watched by more than 5,000 people.
Matt Phillips, OSG Global Head Education, said it was an honour for OSG to be a top three finalist for Best Corporate Event at the prestigious awards.
"With 120+ campuses across 20 countries, OneSchool Global champions future-focused education. Perfect Pitch was our most ambitious student event yet – extending our commitment to student agency through real-world experience, global collaboration, and scalable, professional execution," said Mr Phillips.
"Our students were exceptional, and thanks to our audio-visual partner Corporate Technology Services, the live finale ran flawlessly across ten time zones, elevating the entire experience and making it a standout showcase."
"We are thrilled that OSG has been recognised at this level – and the success of Perfect Pitch has motivated us to think even bigger for future events. The sky is the limit!"
Perfect Pitch was modelled on TV show Shark Tank, with students asked to come up with a comprehensive, innovative business plan and pitch it to a panel of judges
Duncan Lugstein, Managing Director at Corporate Technology Services, said the finale involved 35 students, five judges, and one host who all had speaking roles.
"We worked closely with the OneSchool Global Communications and IT teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality experience," said Mr Lugstein.
"It was a true showcase not only of technical innovation, but of the incredible talent and collaboration fostered by OneSchool Global."
