On Thursday 15November 2018 members of Operation Saturate and Hobart Uniform arrested a 26 year old man at a residence in Hobart. This arrest was possible as result of information provided to police by members of the public, Tasmania Police say.
Following further investigation, this man was charged with 2 counts of Prohibited Behaviour under the Police Offences Act 1925, and 2 counts of Stealing under the Criminal Code Act 1924. The man has been detained to appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court tomorrow, 16 November 2018.
Detectives at the Hobart Criminal Investigation Branch are seeking information from any members of the public who may have recently witnessed suspicious behaviour in the area of the South Hobart Rivulet Track.
