Perth market snapshot for week ending 19 July 2020

Sales activity decreased five per cent in Perth this week, withREIWA membersreporting 799 transactions.

This decrease can beattributed to a two per cent rise in house sales, 21 per cent fall in unitsales and 14 per cent fall in vacant land sales over the week.

Properties for sale

There were 10,490properties for sale in Perthat the end of this week,which is one percent more than last week.

A closer look at listingstock levels shows house listings remained stable, listings for units remainedstable and listings for vacant land increased by four per cent.

This week's total figure is four per cent lower than levels seen four weeksago and 29 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 3,869properties for rent in Perthat the end of this week,which is two percent less than last week.

This week's rentallistings figure is seven per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and47 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.
