Perth Market Snapshot for week ending 25 April 2021

Sales activity increased seven per cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 979 transactions.

This increase can be attributed to a 11 per cent increase in house sales and a 13 per cent increase in unit sales, however vacant land sales declined 39 per cent.

Properties for sale

There were 8,737 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is one per cent more than the previous week.

A closer look at listing stock levels shows house listings increased two per cent, listings for units decreased one per cent and listings for vacant land decreased one per cent.

Last week's total figure is one per cent higher than four weeks ago and 27 per cent lower than a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 2,740 properties for rentin Perth at the end of last week, which is one per cent less than the previous week.

Last week's rental listings figure is one per cent higher than four weeks ago and 52 per cent lower than a year ago.
