Perth Market Snapshot for week ending 31 January 2021

Salesactivity decreased one per cent in Perth last week, with REIWA members reporting 836 transactions.

This decrease can be attributedto a three per cent decline in house sales and a six per cent rise in unit sales. There was no change to vacant land sales over the week.

Properties for sale

There were 8,015 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is down four per on the previous week.

Acloser look at listing stock levels shows house listings decreased by three per cent, listings for units decreased by five per cent and listings for vacant land decreased by three per cent.

Last week's total figure is two per cent lower thanlevels seen four weeks ago, and 35 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were 2,787 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is three per cent less than theprevious week.

Last week's rental listings figure is 15 per cent higher than levels seen four weeks ago and are 52 per cent lower than a year ago.
