Sales transactions in Perth last week were up 17.1 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 884 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were up 25.6 per cent compared to the week prior and unit sales were up 6 per cent while land sales were down 11.6 per cent.

There were 2,781 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 2.6 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 2.4 per cent compared to the week prior, unit listings increasing 1.9 per cent and listings for vacant land increasing 5.2 per cent.
Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 16.2 per cent higher than four weeks ago but 45.3 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.
In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 1,920 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is similar to the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 8.9 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 5.1 per cent lower than a year ago.
