Perth Weekly Market Snapshot: Ending April 19, 2026

Sales transactions in Perth last week were up 20.5 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 746 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were up 32 per cent compared to the week prior, unit sales were up 27.1 per cent but land sales were down 44.2 per cent.

Perth's lowest sale price: Cockburn Central – $495,000

There were 3,966 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 8.1 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 8.1 per cent compared to the week prior, unit listings increasing 7.9 per cent and listings for vacant land increasing 8.3 per cent.

Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 20.4 per cent higher than four weeks ago but 14.3 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,153 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 2.6 per cent up on the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 13.2 per cent higher than four weeks ago but 4.1 per cent lower than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 639 properties leased last week, which is 30.1 per cent higher than the previous week, 8.3 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 11.1 per cent higher than a year ago.
