Sales transactions in Perth last week were down 12.9 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 754 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were down 13.3 per cent compared to the week prior and unit sales were down 17.2 per cent while land sales were stable.

There were 2,820 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 0.7 per cent lower than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 3.7 per cent compared to the week prior while unit listings decreased 7.9 per cent and listings for vacant land decreased 6.7 per cent.
Last week's total figure of properties available for sale is 2.9 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 34.1 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.
In Perth's rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,179 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 5.6 per cent up on the week prior. Last week's rental listings figure is 1.4 per cent lower than four weeks ago but 7.7 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 573 properties leased last week, which is 16.1 per cent lower than the previous week, 19 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 7.6 per cent lower than a year ago.
