Pharmacy robbed at Parramatta

Investigations are underway following an armed robbery at a pharmacy in Parramatta overnight.

About 9.45pm (Monday 21 October 2019), police were called to a pharmacy on Church Street, near Fennell Street, Street, Parramatta, following reports of an armed robbery.

Police have been told a man and a woman entered the store and threatened three female employees with a tomahawk, before fleeing the scene on foot with cash and prescription medication.

No one was physically injured.

Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced investigations.

As inquiries continue, anyone with information is urged to come forward.
