Ballina Shire Council has identified a Fig Tree to be removed from Pine Avenue, East Ballina due to disease.
Removal works will be undertaken on Tuesday 8 September from 9.30am – 3pm.
What to expect
- Council will need to close the westbound lane at 41 Pine Avenue and, at times, both lanes will be on hold while works are undertaken. Traffic control will be in place.
- Motorists travelling in either direction should expect delays, allow extra travel time or consider an alternate route where possible.
- Traffic control will assist local residents with access and direct pedestrians and cyclists.
