Pistol produced during armed robbery - Chipping Norton

A crime scene has been established at a service station in Chipping Norton today after a firearm was produced during a robbery.

About 12.10am (Wednesday 13 November 2019), a man entered the Newbridge Road premises and approached the counter.

He threatened the male employee with a firearm while making demands for cash.

The employee complied and handed the man an amount of cash; the armed man then left the store and was seen getting into a small white vehicle.

Police were called and detectives from Liverpool City Police Area Command have commenced an investigation.
