Pizza delivery leads to arrest at Elizabeth Downs, South Australia

A man has been arrested following a robbery overnight at Elizabeth Downs.

Just before 10.30pm on Tuesday 28 January, patrols were called to a unit on Waite Street, after a pizza delivery driver was allegedly robbed. Police will allege the victim arrived at the property and was threatened by the occupant at the front door who was armed with a knife. The suspect then allegedly stole a pizza and drink.

Police arrived shortly after and located the stolen items inside the unit and the suspect hiding in bushes in the rear yard.

The 18-year-old from Elizabeth Downs was charged with aggravated robbery and refused bail. He will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court later today. The victim was not physically injured.
