Notice of adoption of Cairns Local Government Infrastructure Plan Interim Amendment, Administrative Amendment to Cairnsplan 2016 and Cairnsplan 2016 version 1.3
Notice is given under the Planning Act 2016 that on 10 April 2019 Cairns Regional Council resolved to adopt the following:
- CairnsPlan 2016 Amendment 1 of 2018 – Local Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) Interim Amendment;
- CairnsPlan 2016 Amendment 1 of 2019 – Administrative; and
- CairnsPlan 2016 Version 1.3.
The Cairns LGIP Interim Amendment, CairnsPlan 2016 Administrative Amendment and CairnsPlan 2016 Version 1.3 commence on 15 April 2019.
The purpose and general effect of the LGIP Interim Amendment is to ensure that the LGIP is current. Amendments include: population and demand model and network planning updates.
The purpose and general effect of the CairnsPlan 2016 Amendment 1 of 2019 – Administrative is to make necessary administrative amendments relating to the integration of the Cairns LGIP Interim Amendment into the CairnsPlan 2016 planning scheme. CairnsPlan 2016 Version 1.3 incorporates the Cairns LGIP Interim Amendment and CairnsPlan 2016 Administrative Amendment
A copy of the Cairns LGIP Interim Amendment, CairnsPlan 2016 Administrative Amendment and CairnsPlan 2016 Version 1.3 are available for inspection or purchase at the Cairns Regional Council Customer Service Centre located at 119-145 Spence Street, Cairns or at http://www.cairns.qld.gov.au/planningscheme.
