A planning proposal with respect to land at 40 Solent Circuit, Norwest, is currently on public exhibition until 3 November 2025.
The planning proposal seeks to make the following amendments to The Hills Local Environmental Plan 2019:
- Replace the individual Gross Floor Area limitations for business premises, recreation facilities (indoor), restaurants or cafes and shops at 40 Solent Circuit, Norwest under Schedule 1 with an overall Gross Floor Area control of 4,500m2; and
- Retain the total Gross Floor Area limitation of 1,000m2 for shops at 40 Solent Circuit, Norwest under Schedule 1.
A Gateway Determination for the planning proposal was issued on 3 October 2025. Delegation has been issued to Council as the Plan Making Authority under the Gateway Determination.
