Community organisations that play a vital role in bringing people together, building connection and creating vibrant spaces across Playford are encouraged to apply for the next round of the City of Playford's Community Development Grants.
This grant round opens on Monday, 9 February and community groups, non-profit organisations and sporting clubs within Playford can apply for grants of up to $5000 to support projects, programs, activities and community events scheduled to take place after 30 November 2025.
Through the Community Development Grants program, Council aims to support and encourage initiatives that improve the lives of residents.
City of Playford Mayor Glenn Docherty said the grants play an important role in helping communities come together and build on local ideas.
"These grants help local organisations turn ideas into action, whether that's through cultural celebrations, creative projects, healthy activities or events that help people feel connected to where they live," Mayor Docherty said.
"If you have an initiative that will bring people together and make a positive difference in your community, I encourage you to apply."
