Police Address Major Andergrove Traffic Crash

Police are investigating following a serious single vehicle traffic crash at Andergrove on 6 April.

Around 4.20pm, a 56-year-old Andergrove man was travelling south-west along Celeber Drive on an electric bike before falling off his device.

The rider sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mackay Base Hospital in a critical condition before being airlifted to Townsville Hospital.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing and police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant vision to come forward.
