Police appeal after a ram-raid at Oberon

Police are appealing for public assistance following an alleged ram-raid in the state's Central Tablelands.

About 4.50am Tuesday (17 March 2020), a white Toyota Hilux dual cab reversed into a business on Dart Street, Oberon, smashing the doors off the hinges.

It is alleged that a short time later, the vehicle fled the location with five chainsaws to the value of over $6000.

Officers attached to Chifley Police District attended and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, any witnesses who may have been in the area and have CCTV or dashcam footage, are urged to come forward.
