Police appeal after armed robbery in Ryde

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery in Ryde this morning, NSW Police say.

Just after 2am tomorrow, two unknown men entered a licensed premises on Blaxland Road, Ryde.

Police have been told the men were armed with firearms and threatened staff, before fleeing with a sum of cash.

No one was injured during the incident.

Officers from Ryde Local Area Command attended and commenced inquiries.

A crime scene was established which was examined by specialist forensic officers.
