Police appeal after break and enters in Moree

Police are appealing for public assistance after a spate of break and enters in just two hours in Moree, in the state’s north-west, this morning, NSW Police say.

Between 12.55am and 2am on Wednesday 28 May 2017, nine businesses in Auburn Street, Heber Street and Weber Lane in the Moree CBD were broken into with a number of items stolen.

Patrolling police later noticed two men in the vicinity of Heber Street and gave chase, but were unable to locate them.

They are now appealing for any person who knows the identity of the two men or has information about the break and enters to come forward.

Police believe there were a number of people in the Moree CBD this morning who could have witnessed the incidents.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
