Police appeal after fire-bombing of a home in Guildford

Police are appealing for information after fire-bombing of a home in Guildford this morning, NSW Police say.

Shortly before 1am today emergency services were called to a home on Phyllis Crescent, Guildford following reports of an explosion.

The force of the blast burnt the exterior of the home, causing significant damage. The intense heat caused the lounge room window to smash resulting in minor internal smoke damage.

The occupants of the home managed to escape the blaze uninjured.

Emergency services attended and extinguished the blaze.

Officers from Holroyd Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Police believe the incident was a targeted attack.

Police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist police with their inquiries.

He is described as being aged in his early 20s. He was last seen wearing a hooded jumper with a white motif/symbol on the pocket area, dark pants and dark coloured shoes.
