Police appeal after firearms and coin collection stolen at Tamworth

Police are appealing for information after a home was broken into in the state's north west yesterday.

Between 8am and 4pm on Wednesday 26 February 2020, a home was broken into on Crown Street, West Tamworth.

It was reported that a number of items were stolen, including two firearms, a compound bow and a coin collection.

Officers attached to Tamworth Police District attended and established a crime scene.

As inquiries continue, any witnesses or any motorists who may have been in the area and have CCTV or dashcam vision, are urged to come forward.
