Police are appealing for assistance after a man was found injured in Cabramatta yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 10.45pm today, police and emergency services were called to Cabramatta Road and Grace Avenue after a man was found on the roadway.
The man, believed to be aged in his 60s, was found unconscious with head injuries.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
Initial investigations suggest the man may have fallen after suffering a medical episode.
A crime scene was established and police are appealing for any witnesses to the events leading up to the incident to contact Crime Stopers.
