Police appeal after man found with head injuries in Kirribilli earlier this year

Police are investigating the circumstances after a man was found suffering head injuries in Kirribilli last January.

About 4:10am on Friday 24 January 2020, police and emergency services were called to Broughton Street Kirribilli, where they found a man lying on the road suffering serious injuries after an apparent fall from his bicycle.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 66-year-old man at the scene before taking him to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he remains in a serious condition.

An investigation continues into the circumstances of the incident, and police are appealing for motorists who may have been in the area around the time of the incident – particularly those who have dash cam vision – to contact investigators. Police are especially keen to hear from taxi drivers and garbage truck operators who were in the area at the time.
