Police appeal after serious crash at North Rocks

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious crash at North Rocks yesterday.

About 3.15pm (Saturday 11 May 2019), emergency services attended North Rocks Road after a semi-trailer collided with a Toyota Starlet whilst both were travelling in a westerly direction.

The Toyota has then hit a power pole.

The Toyota driver, a 66-year-old woman, was seriously injured and taken to Westmead Hospital where she has undergone surgery. Her condition is not yet known.

The truck driver, a 44-year-old man, has been assisting officers from The Hills Police Area Command.

North Rocks Road was closed for some time whilst the scene was forensically examined.

As inquiries continue, any witnesses, or anyone with information or dash cam footage, is urged to contact investigators.
