Police appeal after sexual touching in Sydney CBD

Police are appealing for public assistance following an alleged sexual touching on George Street in Sydney yesterday.

Just after 5pm (Thursday 21 November 2019), police have been told that a 23-year-old woman was approached by an unknown man, and allegedly sexually touched.

The man then walked towards Town Hall Station.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area commenced an investigation into the incident.

Police would like to speak to a man they believe may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

The man is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, 175cm-180cm tall, with a medium build, aged in his early 30s, with a bald head and short black beard.

He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may be able to assist with inquires.
