Police appeal after shots fired into house at Guildford

Police are appealing for information after shots were fired at Guildford overnight.

About 11.20pm (Wednesday 10 November 2021), officers from Cumberland Police Area Command attended the intersection of Guildford Road and Robertson Street following information shots were fired.

Police located projectile casings and several bullet holes in the front of a nearby house.

Several people were inside the house at the time, but there were no reported injuries.

A short time later, emergency services attended Bennet Road, South Granville, responding to reports an abandoned vehicle was alight.

Crime scenes were established at both locations and were forensically examined by specialist police.

Inquiries are continuing and police are investigating if the two incidents are linked.
