Police have commenced inquiries after a teenage girl was indecently assaulted by two men at Young, NSW Police say.
The 16-year-old was walking along Boorowa Street about 6.45pm yesterday, when a vehicle stopped near her.
Two men then approached the girl and indecently assaulted her.
They fled in a small dark sedan and were last seen driving west towards Temora.
Police were alerted and officers from Cootamundra Local Area Command are investigating the incident.
They’re appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, or has information that might assist, to come forward.
Both men are only described as being approximately 185cm to 190cm tall. One was wearing a beanie and the other was wearing a baseball cap.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers.
