Police appeal for information after Concord West home invasion

Detectives have released CCTV vision and are appealing for public information following a home invasion in Sydney’s west earlier this year.

Just after 8.30pm on Monday 31 August 2020, three men and a woman allegedly forced entry to a home at Boronia Street, Concord West.

Police were told the woman left the area, before the men – armed with a firearm and baton – threatened the occupants of the home.

The men allegedly assaulted a 21-year-old man, before stealing cash and leaving the area in a dark-coloured vehicle.

The other occupants, two women – aged 47 and 19 – and a 10-year-old girl, were not physically injured during the incident.

The 21-year-old man suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Concord Hospital for treatment. He has since been released.

Officers from Burwood Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV vision and images of three men and a woman who may be able to assist with ongoing investigations.

The woman is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 18 and 20, with long dark hair, braces on her Ianteeth, large fake eyelashes and wearing a light-coloured puffer jacket.

The three men have been described as wearing all black clothing.

Two of the men were also wearing dark coloured face coverings, while the third man was wearing a dark coloured cap.
