Nunawading Highway Patrol members are appealing for witnesses to a three car collision in Mitcham this evening, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a blue Nissan Pulsar was travelling on the wrong side of Mitcham Road about 4.45pm when it struck a Toyota Echo and Toyota Prius.
A female driver of the Echo was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, her male passenger was not injured.
Five occupants of the Prius were unjured, a sixth occupant was treated for a knee injury.
The driver of the Pulsar was treated for minor injuries and is being interviewed by police as they ascertain the exact cause of the incident.
