Police appeal for witnesses after St Albans crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash in St Albans last night.

The crash occurred on Kings Road near Main Road about 9.30pm.

Officers responded to reports of a vehicle which had crashed into a tree and the driver was subsequently trapped in her car.

Police and emergency services extracted the 50-year-old woman from her vehicle and she was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Brimbank Highway Patrol are investigating and appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash, has dashcam footage of the incident, or was in the area at the time to contact police.
