Police appeal for witnesses after Tarneit collision

Officers from Westgate Highway Patrol are appealing for witnesses following a two-car collision in Tarneit yesterday morning.

Investigators have been told a red Honda Civic was turning right from Tarneit Road into Sayers Road when it was struck by a grey Kluger which was travelling along Sayers Road about 8.30am.

A 24-year-old Truganina woman who was driving the Civic, along with two children aged two years and five months, were all taken to hospital.

The Truganina woman remains in hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Kluger, a 31-year Tarneit woman, was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
