Police appeal for witnesses to Jacana car crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to a car crash in Jacana yesterday morning (20 October).

Investigators have been told a grey Honda Civic was travelling on Pascoe Vale Road, north of the Western Ring Road off-ramp, when it left the road and crashed into a tree about 2.40am.

The driver of the vehicle left the scene before police arrived.

The exact cause of the crash is yet to be determined and the investigation remains ongoing.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has dash cam footage of the grey Honda travelling on Pascoe Vale Road between 2.20am and 2.50am to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
