Police appeal to find child missing from Bidwill

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a child missing from the Bidwill area.

Shameaqua Peck, aged 12, was last seen at her home on Chestnut Crescent, about 5.30pm today (Thursday 5 May 2022), 29 April 2022).

When she could not be located, officers from Mount Druitt Police Area Command were notified and have commenced a search of the area.

Police and family have concerns for Shameaqua's welfare due to her age.

Shameaqua is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander, about 150cm to 160cm tall, of slim build, and with red hair.

She was last seen wearing long sleeve pink/red t-shirt, light coloured tights, and rainbow shoes.

Anyone who sees Shameaqua or has information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact Triple Zero (000) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
