Police appeal to find girl missing from Cronulla

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing 13-year-old girl from the Sutherland Shire.

Layla De Jesus, aged 13, was last seen on Friday 22 January 2021 when she left for a dance camp. Layla's mother spoke to her about being picked up from Cronulla, however the arrangement fell through.

She was reported missing to Cronulla Police Station on Sunday 24 January 2021, who have commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family have serious concerns for her welfare.

Layla is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, olive skin, thin build, 160cm to 165cm tall, brown eyes.

Layla is known to frequent the Cronulla and Miranda areas.
