Police appeal to find man missing from Padstow

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's South West late last week.

Prem Anand Vikash, 18, was last seen at a TAFE on Raine Road, Padstow, on Friday 14 February 2020.

When he failed to return to his Belmore home that evening, his family contacted Campsie Police Station and a search was commenced.

Officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command and his family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to a medical condition.

Mr Vikash is described as being of Indian Sub Continental appearance, about 180cm tall with a thin build and a distinct birth mark on the left side of his neck.

He was last seen wearing a long sleeve yellow 'TAFE' shirt with blue trim, a black weather-proof jacket, grey long pants, black safety boots and a black backpack.

Inquiries suggest he may be using public transport and could be in the Wollongong and Nowra areas. He is also known to frequent the Wiley Park, Bankstown and Campsie areas.

Anyone who may have seen Mr Vikash, or has information concerning his whereabouts, is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
