Police appeal to find man missing near Bathurst

Police are appealing for public assistance to help find a man missing in the state's Central West.

Paul Martin, aged 54, left a home on Beaconsfield Road, O'Connell about 6am on Tuesday (22 December 2020).

When he failed to attend work or return home, officers from Chifley Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Concerns are held for his welfare as his disappearance is considered out of character.

Police have since received information that Paul was later seen leaving a motel on Peak Hill Road, Parkes about 8.40am yesterday (23 December 2020).

As inquiries continue, police are appealing for public assistance to locate him.

Paul is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175cm tall, of medium build, with an olive complexion and grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a bone collared long sleeve shirt, jeans and dark coloured work boots.

He is believed to be driving a white Nissan single-cab utility, with NSW registration YCL69V.

Anyone who may know Paul's whereabouts is urged not to approach him but call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
