Police appeal to find missing man at Blue Mountains

Police are appealing for public information to find a man missing from the Blue Mountains.

Michael Morell, aged 46, was last seen leaving his home on Wilson Street, Wentworth Falls, about 5.40pm on Wednesday 10 March 2021.

Officers from Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified of his disappearance when he failed to arrive home and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for Michael's welfare.

He is thought to be travelling to the CBD and uses the train network.

Michael is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165 to 175cm tall, of slim build, with short, brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue and white striped hooded jumper, grey skivvy, dark blue tracksuit pants and black boots. He was carrying a shopping bag.

Police are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact Katoomba Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
