Police appeal to find missing man - Dee Why

Police are appealing for assistance to find a man missing from Sydney's Northern Beaches.

Taituha Hona, also known as Tai, aged 36, was last seen leaving his home on Prescott Avenue, Dee Why, walking towards Dee Why shops on Saturday 24 July 2021 and hasn't been seen since.

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified of his disappearance on Monday 26 July 2021 and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for Tai's welfare as he has a medical condition.

Tai is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, of solid build, about 185cm tall, with a short black/brown hair and cleanly shaven. He also has tattoos on his back and chest.

It is not known what he was wearing at the time.

Anyone who may have seen Tai or knows of his whereabouts is urged to call Dee Why Police or Crime Stoppers.
