Police appeal to find missing man - Westmead 16 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from Sydney's west.

Umesh Upreti, aged 29, was last seen at a hospital on Hawkesbury Road, Westmead, about 8.30am yesterday (Friday 15 January 2021).

He was reported missing to officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Umesh is described as being of Indian/Sub-Continental appearance, between 170 and 180cm tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a bright red hooded jumper, black pants and black shoes. He has tattoos on his arms.

It's believed Umesh may be travelling in a 2017 black Mitsubishi ASX station wagon, NSW registration number CO89LS.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to health issues.
