Police appeal to find missing Sydney woman; last seen in Fairfield

Police appealing for public assistance to find a woman last seen in Sydney's south-west.

Brigette Bowtell, aged 52, was last seen on Wednesday 31 July 2018 when she visited a relative at Denison Street in Carramar, near Fairfield.

Police have been told Brigette also spoke with the same relative on Thursday 15 August 2018, however, she has not been in contact with family or friends since and the matter was reported to Fairfield Police Station on Wednesday 6 November 2019.

Brigette's family and police have concerns for her welfare as the lack of contact is considered out of character.

Brigette is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 160cm-170cm tall with a thin build, and brown hair.

She has also been known to frequent the Sydney suburbs of Redfern, Petersham and Maroubra.

Anyone who may have seen Brigette, or who has information about her whereabouts, is urged to call Fairfield Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
