Police appeal to find missing woman at Tamworth

Police are appealing for assistance to find a woman missing from Tamworth.

Mona Haines, aged 41, was last seen on the Oxley Highway at Carroll, 20 kilometres east of Gunnedah, between 3-4pm on Friday 27 August 2021.

Officers from Oxley Police District were notified by Mona's family about 2.50pm yesterday (Friday 3 September 2021) and commenced an investigation into her whereabouts.

It is not known what she was wearing at the time.

Anyone who has seen Mona, or has information on her whereabouts, is urged to contact Oxley Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
