Police appeal to find woman missing from Northern Beaches

Police are appealing for public assistance to find a woman missing from the Northern Beaches.

Helen Colotto is 47 years old and was last seen leaving a family member's home in Manly Vale about midday (Saturday 4 January 2020).

Officers from Northern Beaches Police Area Command have been told Helen is developmentally delayed and suffers from a number of medical conditions, which means she can become easily confused and appear disoriented.

She is described as being 157cm tall with a medium build, long dark hair and a light/olive complexion. She was last seen wearing a red-and-black top, black tights, white shoes and was carrying a white handbag.

Helen was last seen walking toward Condamine Street; however, she is a visitor to the Northern Beaches and isn't familiar with the area.

Anyone who may have seen Helen since midday, or who has information about her whereabouts, is urged to call Dee Why police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence.
