Police appeal to locate Auburn man missing from Parramatta

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's West.

Sultan Aziz, aged 74, left an Auburn home sometime before 11am today (Tuesday 7 March 2023), travelling to Parramatta by public transport where he was last seen leaving a church on Macquarie Street about 1pm.

When he failed to return home, officers attached to Auburn Police Area Commend were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for Sultan's welfare, as he lives with health conditions which require medication.

Sultan is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm to 180cm tall, of slim build and with short grey hair and a beard.

It is not known what clothing he was wearing at the time; however, likely to be wearing a black jumper and pants.

He is known to frequent the Auburn, Parramatta and Bankstown areas.
