Police Appeal To Locate Boy Missing From Bexley

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy reported missing from Sydney's south.

David Velarde, aged 14, was last seen in Bexley about 5pm yesterday (Sunday 27 July 2025).

When he could not be located, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age.

David is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall, of slim build, with straight black hair, brown eyes and no facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a red Nike jacket, black pants and carrying a purple suitcase and green backpack.

David is known to frequent the St George area.
