Police Appeal To Locate Boy Missing From Yagoona

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy from Sydney's south west.

Vuong Nguyen, aged 11, was last seen on Waruda Street, Yagoona, about 2.05pm today (Sunday 12 October 2025).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for Vuong's welfare given his age.

Vuong is described as being of Asian appearance, about 135cm tall, of medium build, with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a green t-shirt, black shorts, green shoes, and carrying an iPad in a green case.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Bankstown Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000.
