Police appeal to locate child missing from Mascot

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a boy missing from Sydney's east.

Aiden Konecny, aged 11, was last seen at Manhattan Superbowl on Gardeners Road, Mascot about 12.45pm today (Monday 25 April 2022), and was last seen walking along Gardeners Road towards Kingsford.

When he failed to return home and could not be located, officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command were notified just after 6pm and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Police and family hold concerns for Aiden's welfare due to his age.

Aiden lives with autism and is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build, and short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, khaki pants, black and white 'Asics' sneakers and carrying a light-coloured bag.

Aiden lives in the Kingsford area and is known to frequent Eastlakes and Eastgardens.
