Police appeal to locate driver and passenger after crash at Newtown

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a driver and passenger, who may be injured, following a crash at Newtown.

About 6.15am today (Friday 24 July 2020), emergency services were called to King Street following reports of a crash between a blue Suzuki Swift, utility and a motorcycle.

The rider and driver of the ute were uninjured.

Officers from Inner West Police Area Command attended and commenced inquiries into the incident.

Police would like to speak to the two occupants of the car, with initial reports suggesting they may be suffering injuries.

One of the men is described as being of Caucasian appearance, in his 40s, with a gash above his right eye. He was last seen wearing a blue jumper.

The other man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, described as tall and was last seen wearing a black jumper.

Inquiries are continuing.
