Police appeal to locate elderly man missing from Penrith

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from the Penrith area.

Joohyn Lee, aged 87, was last seen leaving his home in Lord Sheffield Circuit, Penrith, about 10.30am yesterday (Friday 10 June 2022).

When he failed to return home, officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare and are now appealing for public assistance.

Joohyn only speaks Korean and lives with dementia. He is described as being of Asian appearance, about 180cm tall, of slim build, with grey hair, and glasses

He was wearing a grey jacket, black pants, and a black hat.

Joohyn is known to frequent the Lidcombe and Strathfield areas.

Anyone with information into Joohyn's whereabouts is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
