Police appeal to locate elderly man missing from Sydney's Eastern Suburbs

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

Paulus Ryanto, aged 83, was last seen leaving a home on Berring Avenue, Roselands, about 11.30am on Saturday 17 December 2022.

When he did not return to his home in Kensington and could not be contacted, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare, due to his age, his failing eyesight and hearing.

Paulus is described as being of Asian appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, with wavy grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket.

He is known to frequent the Roselands and Kensington areas.
