Police appeal to locate elderly woman missing from Wollongong

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman missing from Wollongong.

Lidiana Egan, aged 83, was last seen at home on Corrimal Street, Tarrawanna, about 8.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 4 October 2022).

When she could not be located, officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

There are serious concerns for Lidiana's welfare as she lives with dementia.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with slim build, short white hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a white long sleeve shirt with blue stripes, blue jeans, and light blue runners.

Anyone who may have seen Lidiana is urged to contact Wollongong police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
